Erneut hat mich die Firma OIVO per Instagram kontaktiert und mir die M\u00f6glichkeit zum Testen eines Ihrer Produkte gegeben. Erhalten habe ich eine Ladestation f\u00fcr Akkus der XBOX-Reihe hier m\u00f6chte ich mal kurz meine Erfahrung damit teilen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company OIVO contacted me again via Instagram and gave me the opportunity to test one of their products. I received a charging station for batteries from the XBOX series. I would like to briefly share my experience with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unboxing & Inbetriebnahme \/Unboxing & commissioning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Ladestation kommt in einem schlichten, aber informativ bedrucken Karton daher und der Lieferumfang umfasst neben einem USB-C Kabel sogar direkt 4 Akkus mit satter Kapazit\u00e4t und eine farbige Anleitung in deutscher Sprache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charging station comes in a simple but informative printed box and the scope of delivery includes a USB-C cable, 4 batteries with full capacity and colored instructions in German.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Inbetriebnahme gestaltet sich als \u00e4u\u00dferst simpel, USB-Kabel an die Station und einem beliebigen Netzteil (oder direkt an der Konsole) und die Akkus hinein. In meinem Fall waren die Energiegeber bereits \u00fcber die H\u00e4lfte vorgeladen und konnten direkt in den Controller gesetzt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioning is extremely simple: connect the USB cable to the station and any power supply (or directly to the console) and insert the batteries. In my case, the energy sources were already over half pre-charged and could be placed directly into the controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Praxiseinsatz \/ Practical use<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Akkus sind so konstruiert, dass sie nur auf eine Weise in den Controller oder die Ladestation passen, so dass man hier selbst im hitzigsten Gefecht keine unsachgem\u00e4\u00dfe Besch\u00e4digung anstellen sollte. Ein bereits vorhandener originaler Microsoft-Akku hat aufgrund leicht anderer Form jedoch nicht mit der Station harmoniert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The batteries are designed to only fit into the controller or charging station in one way, so you shouldn’t inappropriately damage them even in the most heated battle. However, an existing original Microsoft battery did not harmonize with the station due to its slightly different shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Station verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber ein kleines Display, welches grob (aber v\u00f6llig ausreichend) \u00fcber den Ladezustand des jeweiligen Akkus informiert. Es l\u00e4sst sich gerade bei Dunkelheit prima ablesen und auch die integrierte RGB-Beleuchtung entfaltet hier ihre wahre St\u00e4rke. Sie ist zwar nicht \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfig hell, aber genau so kr\u00e4ftig, dass sie angenehm ins Auge springt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus kann man sie in verschiedenen Farben einstellen oder einen sanften Farbwechsel vollf\u00fchren lassen. Die letzte Auswahl wird beim Trennen vom Stromnetz beibehalten – was zumindest f\u00fcr mich ein nettes Feature ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The station has a small display that roughly (but completely adequately) provides information about the charge status of the respective battery. It is easy to read, especially in the dark, and the integrated RGB lighting also shows its true strength here. It’s not overly bright, but it’s just strong enough to be pleasantly eye-catching. In addition, you can set them in different colors or have them change colors gently. The last selection is retained when unplugged – which is a nice feature, at least for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Kapazit\u00e4t der Akkus wird mit 4800mWh angegeben, was im Vergleich zu anderen Datenbl\u00e4ttern anderer Hersteller enorm erscheint. Folgerichtig konnte ich die Akkus in meinen ersten mehrt\u00e4gigen Tests auch noch gar nicht leer bekommen und werde entsprechende Erfahrung hier nachreichen. Nach rund 5 Stunden war hier noch nicht Schluss, wobei dort mein original Akku mittlerweile schon l\u00e4ngst die Segel gestrichen h\u00e4tte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The capacity of the batteries is stated as 4800mWh, which seems enormous compared to other data sheets from other manufacturers. Consequently, I wasn’t able to empty the batteries in my first tests lasting several days and will provide the relevant experience here later. After around 5 hours it wasn’t over yet, although my original battery would have given up long ago by now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Da die Akkus (wie bereits erw\u00e4hnt) schon etwa zur H\u00e4lfte vorgeladen waren, hat die erste “Betankung” (alle 4 Akkus an einem Netzteil mit maximal 22,5 Watt am USB-A Port) nur zirka 1,5 bis 2 Stunden gedauert. Vermutlich lie\u00dfe sich also ein komplett leerer Akku in rund 3-4 Stunden aufladen, was vollkommen im Rahmen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the batteries (as already mentioned) were already about half pre-charged, the first “refueling” (all 4 batteries connected to a power supply with a maximum of 22.5 watts on the USB-A port) only took around 1.5 to 2 hours. A completely empty battery could probably be charged in around 3-4 hours, which is completely within limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
